More than 3,000 residents in Tin Shui Wai enjoyed a day of free computer games yesterday at the community centre in Tin Yiu Estate. Event organiser Sony Computer Entertainment said it moved part of its PlayStation exhibits to the area for a trial because it was told many people wanted to visit its show but were put off by the long distance and expensive transport costs. The company enlisted about a dozen volunteers who had worked at its Asia Games Show in Wan Chai to help out at the event yesterday. Besides the free games, a number of job fairs have also been conducted in Tin Shui Wai, a disadvantaged new town in the New Territories.
