Entitled Sole Desire: The Shoes of Christian Louboutin, the retrospective will run from March 13 until April 19. New faces at the drawing board Isaac Mizrahi has been named creative director of women's wear for American sportswear line Liz Claiborne. Mizrahi will be in charge of both the design and marketing aspects for women's clothing, accessories and licensing and his first collection for the brand will debut in stores for spring 2009. John Bartlett was named designer of the label's men's line. Coming and going at H&M Following the semi-retirement of head designer Margareta van den Bosch, H&M has announced that Sofie Johansson is to become head designer of the brand. Johansson was hand-picked by van den Bosch in 1990 as a design assistant for H&M. She was promoted in 1994 to designer followed by a promotion to women's designer in 2005.
