Runaway brothers found safe

TWO young brothers who ran away from their Tai Kok Tsui home naked after being scolded by their mother on Sunday night, were found by their father last night.

The boys, aged nine and 12, were fully clothed when they were found in a park in Shek Kip Mei Street.

They told their factory worker father that they had been fed and clothed by neighbours who felt sorry for them.

The boys had been told off for switching the refrigerator to maximum and wasting energy. Their mother got angry when they refused to apologise. She told them to leave home, but not to take anything with them.

The boys took the advice literally, stripped themselves and left their Maple Street home while their mother was busy.
