Charity group Roads, which aims to prepare young people for future employment, arranged for 80 students to visit a group of mentally handicapped children earlier this month.
The students, who come from Tin Shui Wai and Ho Man Tin, set up activity booths at the Heaven of Hope Sunnyside School.
They played games with the handicapped children, and taught them fai chun calligraphy, and how to play drums and take pictures.
Parco Wong Yuk-yan, 18, said that the children were enthusiastic.
'They really enjoy life. They have great fun playing simple games and taking part in activities like these. I was touched that a little effort on our side made them so happy.'
Parco, who lives in Tin Shui Wai, said the experience encouraged him to work hard and serve society.
