A sex scandal-soaked few weeks has sent most celebrities scurrying from the media's glare, but Miriam Yeung Chin-wah walked straight into the spotlight at Victoria Park yesterday. Or jogged, rather.

Yeung was besieged by reporters soon after crossing the finishing line in the 10km event and although most of the talk was about her running, the Edison Chen Koon-hei affair was always going to be a topic, given Yeung's position as one of the city's most popular Canto-pop and movie stars.

And when Chen's name was finally brought up, Yeung proved she was able to think on her feet as well as she could run on them. 'That's not something I want to talk about,' she said. 'Not at all, thanks.'

What she was keen to discuss was the fact she was able to complete the course with only a few weeks' preparation. 'I was just so happy I finished,' she said, adding that she wasn't sure what time she had run.

'It's the second time I have run the event and now I am thinking about the half-marathon.'

Despite a busy filming and recording schedule, Yeung said she still managed to work out every day.
