1-MIN READ1-MIN
The travel company being held liable for a bus crash in Taiwan in which five Hong Kong people were killed has been refused permission to take its case to the Court of Final Appeal. Kwan Kin Travel Services in November lost an appeal against a finding that it had failed in its duty of care towards clients who were killed or injured in the October 18, 2004, crash. The driver of the bus, a convicted drink driver, had consumed a bottle of liquor.
