It's been two years and the Backstreet Boys have released a sixth album - Unbreakable - that seems lacking in more ways than one. The quintet are now a quartet following the departure of Kevin Richardson and his absence is subtly apparent. The album is strong musically with 14 tracks of wonderful pop tunes.

However, it's like a box of chocolates that are missing those delicious caramel centres. The great harmonies that the band is known for are different and it's noticeable. But you just can't put your finger on it, till you remember that there is one voice missing and then you know why.

The album contains the hit single Inconsolable that has great harmonising between the BSB lads with an emotionally strong melody and lyrics. Any Other Way and Panic both have a catchy pop tune that will have you dancing and bopping away.

Treat Me Right is a soft ballad with an R&B flavour that is reminiscent of the group's earlier songs, revealing a nice evolution from their early days 15 years ago. Love Will Keep You Up All Night is the strongest of all the songs - a moving ballad that has amazing harmony arrangements, showcasing each member's vocal talents. Although the album lacks a standout hit, fans will still enjoy it.
