Santos the star as Citizen triumph

Alexandro Santos scored a brace of first half goals as he led 10-man Citizen to a 3-2 win over WoFoo Tai Po in a Coolpoint Ventilation First Division match at Mongkok Stadium last night. Citizen received a stroke of fortune when a Chiu Chun-kit's own goal put the team ahead after just four minutes. Santos got on the scoresheet a minute later and the Brazilian scored again in the 16th minute. Tai Po's Edgar Junior scored from the penalty spot in the 25th minute before Citizen were reduced to 10 men after Ju Yingzhi was red carded in the 53rd minute. Tai Po's Rafael Betine struck in the dying minute, but Citizen held on to claim the points. Citizen remain in second place on the table on 22 points, four points behind leaders South China.
