Hope on horizon for troubled Lo
EDDIE Lo has been having a torrid time of it this season with just three winners on the board and his stable strength being undermined by a number of horses leaving his yard.
But there looked to be some hope on the horizon in the shape of his Celestial Marshal who was noted running by far his best race of the season when keeping on well behind Call Me Horse in yesterday's fifth event.
Celestial Marshal started the season from a rating of 49 but is gradually creeping back down to a handicap mark from which he can win and competed from a 42 yesterday.
He may even come down a couple more pounds following yesterday's effort and would be an interesting runner if he can be found an equitrack event before the end of the season.
Lucky Record, racing for the first time for Stephen Leung yesterday, showed enough behind Blaze Of Glory to suggest that he can do something when pushed up from 1,200 metres.
