The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon was held recently. Although I was not a runner, I think everyone does something similar as a student.
We are runners on the path of knowledge. It is a long and harsh journey, seemingly without any exits. Sometimes we may feel bored with the repetitive running motion and wonder why we're doing it.
At this point, we need to slow down and take a break, clear our minds and realise why we keep on running.
It doesn't matter if we have stopped or fallen behind. Once we know we are on the right track, we can go forward without hesitation, faster and further, beyond the others.
Marathon running is a sport that requires great persistence. Even if you're not in the lead right now you can still be a winner by achieving your goal.
Even if you are facing adversity in your studies, don't be discouraged. Keep believing and move on!
