Ambience: It's a beautiful, spectacular, airy space with high ceilings and a dramatic view of the harbour. The main dining room, where the hostess seated us originally, has white cloth-covered tables under the high peaked skylight. We asked to be moved outside to the terrace which had patio heaters that kept us warm enough. The service was capable until one waiter, standing behind me while pouring my glass of white wine, accidentally tipped a bottle of red wine down my back - then the staff froze and didn't know what to do. The manager reacted well, coming over to apologise, agreeing to pay for the dry-cleaning and - as we found out when paying the bill - he comped our glasses of wine and desserts.
Price: About HK$500 for a three-course meal without wine and before adding the 10 per cent service charge.
