Tuesdays with Morrie Mitch Albom Tuesdays with Morrie is about the writer's relationship with his former college professor, Maurice Schwartz, or Morrie. The author had lost touch with him but re-established contact when he heard that Morrie was dying. It is a sad book because Morrie does not have long to live, but it is also very uplifting and inspiring because of the dignity and courage with which he faces death. Mitch Albom records the insights and advice that Morrie gives along the way. When he meets Morrie again, Albom is a successful journalist. He has everything a man could possibly want: a successful career, fame and money. But he has no time to stop and think about the things that are really important to him. He does not feel satisfied with his life. Morrie tells Albom that he is spending his life chasing what he wants rather than what he needs. Albom's life changes after meeting with Morrie. I really enjoyed the book because it made me sit down and think about my dreams and goals in life. Teenagers focus on their studies while adults bury themselves in work. But is that what life is all about? There's a lot more to life than fame and money.
