Father, son arrested for fight
A man, 58, and his son, 21, have been arrested for fighting in their Yiu Man House flat at Tin Yiu Estate, Tin Shui Wai just after midnight. A wooden baton was used in the fight. The father had a bruised back and his son suffered minor injuries to his right hand, but neither man required hospital treatment.
Youths hit man with bottle
Two youths attacked a man, 37, and struck him on the head with a glass bottle. The attack occurred in a convenience store near the Choi Wan bus terminal in Choi Hung at 2.48am. He was in stable condition in United Christian Hospital.
Masked attacker flees
A man was chopped in the left arm and thigh in an attack by a masked man in Wang Cheong Factory in Lai Chi Kok Road, Cheung Sha Wan, at 2.30pm. The 47-year-old was in stable condition in Princess Margaret Hospital. Police mounted a search but no one was arrested. The attacker wore a face mask, cap, windbreaker and blue jeans.
