Now there's a reason - apart from the presence of the Lane Crawford warehouse - to venture to the upper reaches of Horizon Plaza. Occupying the entire top floor, the third outlet of Tree is a 25,000 sq ft expanse that owner Nicole Wakley insists maintains the boutique-style ambience of its SoHo store. To coincide with the opening, there are new collections, including an eco-chic line of furniture made of recycled wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (www.fsc.org). The recycled-teak dining tables (left) from Indonesia cost HK$7,250 to HK$12,250, depending on size (150cm by 80cm by 78cm to 240cm by 100cm by 78cm; benches HK$2,950 to HK$5,250; 15 per cent discount for table and bench sets). Consistent with the store's green emphasis are its new Italian-style sofas made with environment-friendly glue. Tree, which has a cafe as well as comfortable toilets and baby-changing rooms, is at 28/F, Horizon Plaza, 2 Lee Wing Street, Ap Lei Chau, tel: 2870 0389.
