American brand Slow and Steady Wins the Race takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to the bag phenomena with a range of affordable bags modelled on today's iconic 'it' styles such as the Hermes Birkin or the Chanel 2.55. Instead of using luxe croc or python, the bags are made from simple fabrics such as cotton muslin and canvas twill, and come with basic hardware such as a gold chain strap or trim. Choose from styles including the Dior Saddle, Balenciaga Motorcycle (already spotted on Sarah Jessica Parker) or As Four, which combines details from the best of four icons.
