Elderly lover sought after attack on couple in restaurant An elderly man is being sought by police after allegedly injuring his lover and her boyfriend with a cutter in a restaurant in Yau Ma Tei early yesterday. The man, thought to be about 60, allegedly attacked the pair as they met in a Woosung Street restaurant about 2.30am. He had fled before police arrived. The woman, 44, suffered cuts to her left arm and her boyfriend, 62, was injured in the neck, forehead, face and left arm. He was in a stable condition in Kwong Wah Hospital. The woman was discharged after receiving treatment. Woman's body found in sea Police are trying to establish the identity of a woman whose body was found floating in the sea off Tung Chung Development Pier on Lantau at 6.40am. The woman is thought to have been between 30 and 40 and about 1.62 metres tall. She was wearing a light yellow shirt and green trousers. Taxi driver, passenger in scuffle A taxi driver, 56, and his passenger were arrested after they scuffled in a dispute over a fare in Sai Lau Kok Road, Tsuen Wan, about 3am. The male passenger, 21, was also arrested for kicking the taxi's door and claiming to be a triad member in the incident. The two men were treated for minor facial injuries at Yan Chai Hospital. Truck reverses into pedestrian A woman was taken to hospital after a truck reversed into a parking space and hit her in Pilkem Street near the junction with Austin Road in Jordan at about 2.30pm. The 32-year-old woman was treated for injuries to a knee and arm at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Tour group members fall ill The Centre for Health Protection was contacting all 21 members of a tour group who returned from Cambodia on April 2 after 10 fell ill with bacillary dysentery. One, a 36-year-old man, was admitted to Tseung Kwan O Hospital on April 6. Debt dispute gets physical A husband and wife aged 50 and 49 were attacked by a woman, 44, in a dispute over a debt at the Yiu Tung Estate shopping centre in Yiu Hing Road, Shau Kei Wan, at 4.25am. The two women were arrested for fighting in a public place. Police said the man, who had been slapped, owed one of the women money.
