Samsung Electronics is giving consumers added incentive to invest in a high-definition television with the iDTV, a full-HD liquid crystal display that has an integrated HD video decoder and a terrestrial digital video broadcast tuner. These features, which comply with Hong Kong's digital transmission standards, mean you don't need a separate HD set-top box and remote control. The iDTV has an 'easy channel switch' for changing between analogue and digital viewing. It comes with Samsung's Super Clear Panel technology, which minimises reflection, making the detail pop out of the screen, even in dark scenes. The Samsung iDTV is available in 40-inch (HK$24,280), 46-inch (HK$28,480) and 52-inch (HK$47,380) screen-size models.
