Any fashionista worth her Manolo Blahniks knows about hip British boutique Joseph. Founded in London in the early 1960s by Joseph Ettedgui, it began as a multilabel boutique stocking names such as Kenzo, Emmanuelle Khanh and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. When Ettedgui launched his own line in the 1990s, it became a favourite with the fashion pack for its signature black trousers and oversized sweaters. Hongkongers can now get their hands on the label; a Joseph boutique, for men and women, has opened in Causeway Bay. Although the store won't be multibrand, it will stock Joseph's spring-summer lines. Expect mannish tailoring using shiny silks or georgettes such as the grey Gustav dress (left). Other cool items include printed tees, a raw leather jacket and, of course, the signature trousers, which come in crepe this season. Joseph is at shop 110, Lee Gardens 2, Causeway Bay, tel: 2808 1040.
