Sheikh Mohammed Subhan, 14 I'm scared of theme park rides. It took a lot of nerve to ride The Dragon and the Mine Train at Ocean Park. I never wanted to go on The Abyss, but I gave in to peer pressure. I didn't want my friends calling me a coward. I remember hovering at the top and being scared for my life. I'm glad I'm still alive! Nicole Dainton, 16 Public toilets. Ok, well maybe not scared, definitely grossed out. I used to be afraid of the sea, but I pushed myself to go on a scuba-diving trip with school, which ended up being one of the best camps I've ever been on. I no longer have to stay on the junk when others jump off. I think I've finally ruled out the idea that I'm going to get eaten alive every time I jump in the sea. Maryam Naz, 18 I'm hardly scared of anything. Not heights, the dark, creepy crawlies, ghosts or failure. But I am afraid of one thing, and that's death. It's so unpredictable - you never know when it will be your turn to die, or the cause. Just thinking of it gives me chills.
