Jordan Chan Siu-chun has released his latest album, Exclusive Memory, after a four- year absence from the Mandarin music scene.
The singer-actor reveals that he fell in love with music production while he was producing his albums in Taiwan. 'I've always loved Mandarin songs. The lyrics go so well with the melody in the storytelling,' he says.
'I have really enjoyed the process of composing and arranging songs with my producer Preston Lee. We communicated well and great ideas kept popping up.'
Although Chan is known to be romantically involved with actor Cherrie Ying Choi-yi, love has not prevented him singing his trademark bitter-sweet songs.
Chan is best known for singing sad songs with a tough hip hop edge that are popular with the boys. A lot of broken-hearted young men are known to be big fans.
Most of his songs revolve around love and the tunes included on this new album are no exception. Only this time, Chan's love extends to his family and friends.
