The Singapore skyline will soon have an exciting new landmark - One Shenton, the highly anticipated residential development by City Developments. Housing 341 luxurious apartments and penthouses in two gold and silver towers, topped by iconic crowns, One Shenton has been designed by award-winning architect Carlos Ott and is in the heart of the central business district at the edge of Marina Bay.

The first phase of the project sold out at its launch last year, with Hong Kong investors snapping up at least 10 units worth a total of HK$125million. For those interested in a stunning residence with city and waterfront views, City Developments recently launched sales of its most exclusive Sky Suites and Sky Villa penthouses. The duplex Sky Suites, which come with jet pools, will be housed in the three Sky Bridges, which link the two towers and are one of the most sensational features of the project. These bridges include the Wellness Levels on the 24th and 25th floors, which provide a sky gym, spa garden, outdoor fitness area and a host of facilities. The Sky Villa penthouses are situated inside the dramatic crowns of the towers, with the translucent facades of the crowns providing spectacular views and completing the three dimensional shapes of the towers.

There are 11 Sky Suites and Sky Villas, each with four bedrooms ranging from 5,199 sqft to 9,085 sqft, with an average asking price of about S$16million (HK$90million).

Kwek Leng Beng, executive chairman of City Developments, says: 'With the limited residential housing available in the inner city, particularly those close to Marina Bay, One Shenton, with its superior architectural design, provides the best investment in a home.'

Location is certainly a key factor in the success of the project, confirms Eunice Yang, assistant manager, corporate communications of City Developments. 'One Shenton is close to the site of the Sands Marina Bay Integrated Resort. Also in this area is the new Business Financial Centre, Gardens by the Bay and an array of convention, leisure, commercial and entertainment facilities. Raffles MRT station and the upcoming Landmark MRT station are only a short walk away.'

She says convenience and the air of luxury will attract investors, describing how residents and visitors to One Shenton will be treated. 'When you step into the grand lobby you will be greeted by a doorman. A concierge will take care of your lifestyle demands and if you don't feel like cooking you can indulge at the fine-dining restaurants which will be opening at the lobby level. Other retail and dining services will also be available there.'
