For Denmark to qualify ahead of us, they will need to beat Bermuda and score 370 runs in 50 overs. We would then go through with the Danes, unless Bermuda scored 240 off 50 overs in their defeat. Confused? Basically put your house on the boys being in the last eight.

It has been an excellent week with big wins in our last two matches. Stewart Brew's flawless hundred against West Africa set up Hong Kong's highest total ever in 50 overs.

Pat Fordham and Riaz Farcy once again scored very quickly, with Pat hitting his third consecutive half century. Steve Atkinson also struck the ball cleanly, especially in the latter part of his most welcome innings.

Another fine all-round performance in the field capped off a great day of Hong Kong cricket. Tim Davies took a spectacular running catch, one which was particularly special as he is playing with a fractured finger. He also bowled well and has slipped nicely into the vacant opening bowler's slot (Justin Strachan still has a stomach strain).
