Media representatives from Hong Kong were attacked yesterday when they unexpectedly got caught in an emotional confrontation between Japanese and Chinese protesters. Tensions flared as Japanese protesters walked past a group of Hong Kong media workers reviewing tapes of President Hu Jintao . A Cable TV technician was trying to protect his station's live-feed satellite dish from the Japanese protesters when one of them grabbed him by the neck. The protester pushed the technician into a flower bed and punched him. Two other technicians who tried to help were also kicked. About 10 protesters then shouted and pointed fingers at the Hong Kong media group for more than 10 minutes.
