We are blowing Staunton Street eatery Bar of Soup's cover as a workday workhorse - serving fresh soups and sandwiches to the SoHo throng - and exposing its clandestine operation: dishing up a different Singaporean speciality every Wednesday night for lovers of nonya noodles, roti John, nasi briyani and other tasty treats. Singapore Nite, as Bar of Soup owners Ng Yee-lin and David Yip like to call it, originated from requests by regulars. Now, with the addition of Brunch Lah!, on alternate Sundays between noon and 4pm, the secret is out. On offer today is nasi lemak, a multi-dish traditional breakfast served with fragrant coconut rice. To find out what's on the menu, call Bar of Soup (37 Staunton Street, SoHo, Central) at 2522 2595 or get on the mailing list by writing to email@example.com .
