WE refer to the letter by your correspondent Ms Sarah Clay (South China Morning Post, February 2), regarding the behaviour of route No 91 bus captains on not stopping to pick up passengers.
It is the duty of our bus captains to follow the normal bus procedure of stopping at designated bus-stops and picking up intending passengers whenever the bus has not reached its licensed capacity.
On reading about this case, we reminded all bus captains of the concerned route that they must comply with the above procedure.
The behaviour of these bus captains will be closely monitored. Should any misbehaviour be found, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
We would like Ms Clay to accept our apologies for her unpleasant experience and our assurance that we have taken immediate follow-up action.
