Police lead a hooded suspect yesterday to a scene connected with the murder of Yen Suan, 87, who was found dead in her flat in Shek Kip Mei Estate, Sham Shui Po, with head injuries on March 7. The suspect, a 50-year-old woman whose surname was given as Li, was charged last night with murder and will appear in Kowloon City Court today. Senior superintendent Edward Leung Ka-ming said a person who provided information in the case could qualify for a reward of HK$300,000 offered by police on Friday. Police had asked for information about a woman believed to be the last person to see Yen on March 4. Officers arrested Li in Tin Shui Wai on Wednesday.
