A High Court judge quashed the conviction of a businessman who was jailed six months for attacking a Japanese actor-model and his friend with a champagne glass last year. Alan Chan Hung-yip, 28, fiance of socialite Michelle Cheng Sze-wan, was earlier convicted of assaulting Takuya Suzuki and Joe Nakamura. The judge will decide on the application for retrial on June 27.
