China international Sun Jihai admitted he had played his last match for Manchester City in Hong Kong yesterday after six and a half years with the Premier League club.

And it was a sad ending for Sun, who was also captain of the visitors when they were beaten by a South China Invitation team 3-1 at Hong Kong Stadium.

In the other match of the Cash 10th Anniversary Soccer Day, Italian powerhouse Juventus also lost to the home team when domestic champions South China scored a convincing 2-1 victory.

'So far I have heard nothing from the management about my contract and I would consider that's the end of my days in City and have to find another club for next season,' said the 30-year-old defender. 'I still want to play for City and I think I have the ability to do so. But if it is not possible, my agent has already told me there are other clubs in England who are interested in me and there are also offers back home in China.'

The City captain added that the team donated their match appearance fee of #40,000 (HK$611,000) to earthquake victims in Sichuan.

City coach Sven Goran Eriksson was disappointed with the result as they lost by two goals, but added that the match was very useful for the young players.
