Shek O Beach was reopened to swimmers after the marine police and Government Flying Service completed searches off 10 nearby beaches yesterday and sighted no sharks. On Wednesday, two swimmers reported finding two sharks of about 50cm in length in a rock pool at the western end of Shek O Beach. Fisheries officials have confirmed they were harmless white-spotted bamboo sharks.
