VISITING International riding star Alan Munro can get back among the winners courtesy of Jewellery Star (Next Best) in tonight's fifth event on the Happy Valley grass.
Jewellery Star has put in a number of fine runs this season during which he has looked a much improved performer.
In particular, he impressed at the first time of asking when a short head second to Best One over this evening's course and distance in one of the tighest photo finishes of the campaign.
Neither Randy Romero on Best One nor Jackie C. K. Tse on Jewellery Star knew whether or not they had prevailed and the result took many minutes to be announced.
How times change. Romero is no longer with us - though he is alive and well and riding winners in his native United States.
Tse is no longer on Jewellery Star who is no longer trained by Tony P. H. Chan. That's Hong Kong racing for you.
