YAU Shing Investment paid $35.5 million for a development site at 205 Portland Street, Kowloon, at a public auction organised by Chung Sen Surveyors.

  The 997.5 square foot site has a plot ratio of six, and the purchaser intends to redevelop the site for private residential use. The auction opened at $27 million and five bidders competed.
