Combined college comes into effect in August and keeps the fundamentals while strengthening core components

Britain's Henley Management College will shortly introduce in Hong Kong its revamped Henley MBA by Distance Learning which will have a new course structure and improved content and delivery to ensure the course stays at the forefront of business education at a time when challenges in the business world are becoming more complex.

'This is a new and improved version of the Henley MBA. We have kept the fundamentals and strengthened some of the core components,' said Neil Gibbons, the college's executive director of open programmes.

'Business doesn't stand still and conditions change particularly with the challenges arising from economic growth. It is the same with MBAs which is why we need to evolve and innovate in order to remain up to date with market needs,' he said.

The SCMP/Henley MBA Scholarship programme now offers executives the opportunity to apply for two full fee scholarships for its new distance learning MBA. Each scholarship, valued at HK$240,000, will cover full tuition and travel costs for a four-day starter workshop on the college's Henley-on-Thames campus.
