ACLOSE relationship among teachers, students and parents is the aspiration of Carmel Alison Lam Foundation Secondary School.
Convinced that the goal of education can be more effectively achieved through co-operation between parents and teachers, the school regularly sends special newsletters to parents.
The quarterly newsletter, featuring school activities, does not only include school news but also has important messages for parents.
''We are not merely conveying news and messages. We are trying to educate parents,'' said principal Chue Kie-cheung.
Both the principal and the school social workers contribute articles for the journal.
''Our objective is to share our views and experience with parents about the bringing up of teenagers,'' said Mr Chue.
