Connecting with teens around the world

I live in Antony, about seven kilometres south of  Paris.
It's a pleasant town where one can enjoy a provincial life with all the conveniences of the city: we have gardens and parks, plenty of entertainment and a lot of culture, but it's not too polluted.
School life is fun as I have many friends and  go to a very nice  school with lovely old buildings and a park. But I have to work very hard.
My major subject is science. I study biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. I also study languages (English and Italian), history and philosophy.
I have  been part of the photography club for three years. We develop our own photos and make photomontages.
During my free time, I  listen to music, sing,  play the guitar and the piano, play tennis and badminton, go running, read,  watch   TV and surf  the  Net.
My favourite TV shows and movies deal with political or environmental issues. I like  pop, rock, techno   and some  classical music. My favourite musician is DJ David Guetta. He writes brilliant lyrics and interesting music.During the holidays, I usually go to the south of France with my  dad. If I go away with my  mum it's always a surprise: we may rent a house or stay with friends or relatives in the countryside.
The most important festival in France is Christmas. We decorate a tree and, as my  mum is Catholic, we set up a crib. We celebrate with a big family meal and attend midnight Mass afterwards.
I'm easy-going, inquisitive, open-minded and mild-tempered.
When I'm older, I want to be either a singer, a doctor, a reporter or a photographer.
I love travelling and I'm happy to be spending a year in a different country because it will allow me to experience another culture.
I was in Hong Kong  briefly when I went to Indonesia six years ago, but all I remembered were the tall buildings.
I'm currently on an AFS Intercultural Exchanges programme and living with a host family in Mong Kok,  so I'll have plenty of opportunities to explore.
