Ms Du Quesnay told parents on Thursday there was rising demand in the area. 'That's what I personally would like to see but we don't have the money ... we've got other demands.'
She was replying to a parent who asked whether the foundation would invest in any more private independent schools. Parents were concerned their fees were being used to fund Discovery College and Renaissance College, run by ESF Educational Services Limited. Ms Du Quesnay pointed out that the government's private independent schools scheme had finished.
