Local designers are finally getting on the green bandwagon, with Lucy Shih leading the way. She tries to conserve the environment's resources - think organic, non-toxic fabrics such as Tencel and eco-friendly production processes - and her pieces are easy to wear and multifunctional. Available exclusively at J Concept Lounge (8/F, 1 Lan Kwai Fong, Central, tel: 2869 6700), the trousers come in two lengths - full length (HK$1,798) or ankle (HK$878) - and can also be worn as a skirt, dress or top (using a complicated series of buttons). Choose from black, grey, pink or camel. Also coming soon are pieces that convert into bags.
