BEAT the rush hour blues by simply walking along the bus queue until you meet somebody you recognise, stop, talk to them.

Look skyward, whistle and hey presto. You're in.

Better still employ an amah to stand in the queue until she hits the front, then she can stand to one side until you arrive at your leisure and simply switch places, by-passing all the masses of people who have been standing in an orderly line for 20 minutes or so.
