Retail operator seeks senior technical services manager

One of the world's largest European retail operators is looking for a senior manager of technical services for its Hong Kong buying office. Talent2 is handling the search.
The candidate would have to communicate the company's technical, ethical and environmental standards and protocols to its suppliers to ensure product specification, quality and factory compliance.
'Broad knowledge and expertise in compliance, quality management, vendor development and social responsibility is required' said Donna NguyenPhuoc, the head of supply chain practice at Talent2. 'The ability to manage product risk assessment together with practical experience of production and product testing would be an advantage.'
The role requires close collaboration with sourcing, supply chain and vendor management teams to ensure on-time delivery of technical services and tasks.
Frequent travel in Asia is required to train and work with regional technical teams and suppliers as well as to Europe for global management meetings.
