Twins will reunite, says Choi

Charlene Choi Cheuk-yin, one half of the duo Twins with Gillian Chung Yan-tung, (right) is highly optimistic that they will reunite 'some day'.

Chung has vanished from the limelight since the sex photo scandal that broke early this year, leaving Choi to field countless questions on whether the pair are splitting up.

'No matter what happens, Ah Gil [as Chung is often known] plus Ah Sa [Choi's nickname] will always be Twins,' Choi said.

Chung, 27, is now believed to be taking acting and singing classes in preparation for her 'reappearance'.

Choi said now was the time for both to learn new skills separately, so 'when Twins is to reunite again, we will be able to bring in some fresh elements to our performances'.

Asked when this was likely to happen, she replied: 'Well, some day. I believe that some day we will reunite again but it is not likely to be today or tomorrow. But I really don't want to hear anything about us separating ever again.'

Obscene pictures, purportedly of Chung, Edison Chen Koon-hei and other stars, were found circulating on the internet in January.

Chung made a public apology for being 'silly' and 'naive' and the duo later appeared at a TVB charity fundraiser for mainland snowstorm victims. But the station received more than 1,500 complaints from viewers calling Chung 'a bad influence on children'.

The two have not been seen together since.
