Hong Kong Management Association Quality Award

The Quality Award was first launched in 1991 by The Hong Kong Management Association to reward dedication to quality in every organisational function. The award, the association's most prestigious, brings public recognition to organisations that have achieved outstanding standards of quality management. The award, which is based on the renowned American Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award judging criteria, is open to applicants from all fields of businesses and industries. Companies and organisations whose principal activities are in Hong Kong are eligible to apply. Quality Award participants who have achieved outstanding performance may be awarded the gold, silver or bronze awards, although this year a gold and two bronzes were awarded. To assist and enhance the development of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) the association has also developed a special award for SMEs.
