For Independence Day, everyone gets together to watch fireworks over the National Mall. We tend to be pretty motivated, accepting and fun, and find ways to follow our hearts. High school life was challenging. I had a lot of work and responsibilities. I studied maths, French, English, science, history, and performing arts. As I got older, the amount of time I spent on homework increased drastically. My first language is English, but I'm fluent in French. In middle school I learned Russian and some Arabic. I love acting and dancing. I started acting in high school and have been dancing for 13 years. I have performed at almost every venue in Washington DC, and I hope that I'll perform for the rest of my life. I've always been very involved in my community. I hang out with my friends in the city and shop, watch movies and sports games, go to all the concerts here, and have picnics on the National Mall. I like to wear bright colours with bright sneakers, but I also like being really girly and wearing pretty dresses and high heels. I love basketball, American football and football. As far as music goes, I like hip hop, R&B and pop. I like comedy, romance and action movies. I really look up to my father, who is an oncologist and saves a lot of people every day. I am really proud of him and hope to emulate him as much as possible. My parents are divorced, but I have a very healthy relationship with everyone in my family. I have one younger brother, Nolan. During the holidays, we spend about a week visiting family in places like California, Montreal and England, and then come home for the rest of the break. I like to work hard and play hard. I love people and am good to my friends. I like to be there for anyone who needs me. I try to think of others before myself. I really hope to fill my life with a lot of great adventures and fun people. When I'm older, I want to be a cardiologist. I'm fascinated by the body and the heart, and I want to help people. I'd also love to get into the entertainment business because of my passion for performing arts. I've been fortunate to have met people from all over the world with different backgrounds and perspectives. I have been to Egypt, England, France, India, Mexico, Belize and Canada, but I have never been to Hong Kong, so I hope that a new friend will invite me soon!
