Connecting with teens around the world

Millau is a small city in the south of France. The city is famous for its viaduct, the highest in the world.
It's really cold and windy during winter, when temperatures drop to  -10 degrees Celsius. During summer, the weather is hot and dry - it can reach up to 35 degrees Celsius.
In France, we have to wear uniforms to school. Lessons start at 8am and end around 5pm or 6pm. I studied maths, science and history when I was in France. French and geography were compulsory. I also had to study two languages - English and either Italian, German or Spanish. I loved my school life: lessons weren't too hard and I could hang out with my friends if school finishes early. All my teachers are pretty cool. My first language is French, of course. I'm learning English and German, but I'm not very good at languages.
I never seem to have much time to spend with my friends, but when we hang out, we go to the cinema, shop, play sports or just sit in a cafe and talk for hours.
My favourite food in France would have to be goat's cheese. It's delicious and it's quite famous in my area. My favourite hobby is gymnastics. I've been doing it since I was eight. I practise six hours a week. I also enjoy reading, chatting with my friends, listening to music and sleeping. I think I'm very shy and not very confident in myself, but I'm talkative with people I know well. I'm interested in a lot of things and when I'm with my friends I get a little crazy!
I think most French teenagers want to be independent from their parents. They don't always care about their future - they prefer to enjoy life without thinking about the consequences. I'm very lucky when it comes to travel as I've been to a lot of countries with my parents. I've been to Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Greece, Crete, Russia, Vietnam, the US, Turkey, China, France, Belgium, Jordan, Egypt, Sardinia and Scotland. I love Turkey -it's a wonderful place. People are warm and friendly. I also love Vietnam.
