Women have always been looked down on, especially in Asian societies. In the old days, men were superior as women were physically weaker farmers. A lot of men still think women are weaker in all aspects.
For me, men and women have different abilities and are good at different things. For example, men are better at logical thinking while women are more patient and careful.
In the past, women stayed home and took care of the children while men worked. But nowadays more and more women are working and have higher positions than men. Women are no longer weaker.
Men and women have different roles to play in society. No one is more or less important. People should do what they enjoy doing.
I think total equality between men and women can be achieved some day.
