When: July 25-27 Where: Naeba ski resort, Niigata Prefecture, Japan

Times: opens 9am, stages open 11am

Tickets: three-day pass, 39,800 yen (HK$2,900); daily, 16,800 yen; camping permit, 3,000 yen per person.

Accommodation: on-site camping or at one of the nearby inns and hotels.

Don't forget: raincoat, hat and warm jacket, as it will probably be hot, cold, sunny and rainy at some point.
