Porn film scam lands jobless conman in jail
A single mother in financial difficulty was tricked into having sex with a conman who had promised to pay her for taking part in a pornographic movie.
The District Court heard yesterday that the mother, 35, a divorced waitress with one child, answered a newspaper advert in mid-December purportedly seeking actors and actresses to appear in pornographic movies, to be paid HK$23,000.
The pair began to shoot the movie on a digital camera in a Mong Kok motel room late at night on December 27, after discussing the plot - which called for the woman to be blindfolded, gagged with masking tape and then tied up naked.
After filming the sex session for 15 minutes, the conman tied her up then fled with her handbag.
She managed to loosen the tape under a running tap, called for help and was rescued by a motel worker.
Judge Patrick Li Hon-leung, who described the scheme as 'calculated and disgusting', jailed Ngai Yuk-ka, 28, for 34 months. The plot 'took advantage of [the woman's] financial problem and exploited her sexually', he said.
