Dynamic entrepreneurs experienced in software solutions in the global textile industry, including fashion design, floor coverings and home furnishing, should apply for this job. A public-listed company, based in Holland with offices in the United States, Europe and Asia, is looking for a sales manager for the Asian region to be based in Shanghai. The company has been rapidly expanding on the mainland since 2004 and has over 200 clients there and more than 3,500 worldwide. 'They are looking for trustworthy and loyal individuals who can fill the position of sales manager, and can explore China and take it to the next level,' said Selina Chan, managing director of PG Recruitment, which is handling the search. Key responsibilities of the position include increasing sales revenue, and managing and coaching staff. The manager has to be a confident leader who aspires to help the company grow in Asia. Reporting directly to the managing director, the successful candidate will develop and implement new marketing and sales strategies, and must be able to make key decisions. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in direct sales and implementing marketing and sales strategies is a must. 'The company is looking for an entrepreneur with a strong business sales background, experience in software solutions and an ability to get deals in,' Ms Chan said. A screening session will be held and short-listed candidates will be invited for a two-hour interview where first impressions are the key to getting the job. Fluency in written and spoken English and Putonghua is a must.
