Edelweiss Cheung (centre) joins first runner-up Skye Chan (left) and second runner-up Sire Ma after being crowned Miss Hong Kong last night at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Ms Cheung, 22, is a student who competed in the pageant to contribute more to society. Ms Chan, 24, was named Miss International Goodwill, while 19-year-old Ms Ma was named Miss Photogenic. The annual pageant, staged by TVB since 1973, has started many a film career.
