Scavenger, 77, attacked with bucket

Police are hunting for a couple thought to be aged between 50 and 60 after a 77-year-old scavenger was beaten with a plastic bucket in Sham Shui Po yesterday. The woman was collecting discarded paper and boxes in Kweilin Street outside a Sham Shui Po MTR station exit at about 2pm when the incident happened. Her left forearm was injured, and she was taken to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment.
