A weighty issue

Audi's B5 series of the A4 will be released in Hong Kong, available in two engine models - the 1.8L TFSI and 3.2L V6 FSI. The B5 version features the Modular Longitudinal Platform (MLP) - a technology created by Audi - that reduces front over hang, creating a longer wheelbase with less increase in overall length. As a result, engine weight is shifted slightly backward to better distribute the mass between the front and rear wheels, and improve handling.
