This is a call for people-oriented individuals with strong communication and presentation skills. Emerson Climate Technologies is looking for an experienced professional to join its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong as a training manager to take part in its expansion plans in manufacturing, engineering and sales and marketing capabilities in Asia. Emerson offers a broad range of climate control technology services including designing and manufacturing compressors and electronic and electromechanical flow controls for air-conditioners and refrigerators to a growing customer base. Applicants should have more than eight years of experience in training management, consultancy, coaching or training delivery to identify, formulate and execute learning and development plans, and infrastructure for Asia-Pacific. The manager should be familiar with different types of training and assessment tools for skill evaluation to drive alignment and the standard of initiatives at all regional offices and to set up a standard for training programmes at the headquarters by identifying tools and resources. Individuals should possess strong training delivery experience, consultancy or coaching experience. A degree in engineering, business studies or human resources is required for this position. Fluency in English and Putonghua is a must. Knowledge of another Asian language is an advantage.
